"Personal Visions" Larry Halprin.
Larry Halprin is one of the world's leading landscape architects and environmental planners. In addition to his visionary work at The Sea Ranch on the northern California coast, Larry is noted for a variety of projects including the FDR Memorial in Washington, D.C. and the Levi Strauss Plaza and Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco; his recent planning projects include a new design for Lower Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park and a 23-acre campus for George Lucas at the Presidio in San Francisco. He has received a multitude of awards including the National Medal of Arts, presented by the President of the United States.
