Detailed model of the familiar British red telephone box. Originally designed by Giles Gilbert Scott for a competition in 1924 to find a suitable standard pattern of kiosk that might be used throughout Britain. This classic K2 model was replaced by the Jubilee kiosk in 1936, which became the standard for over 30 years. With the advent of the cell phone, these lovely icons are slowly vanishing. 4" x 4" x 8" h.
