    Unikko Bathrobe

Hello. Please notify me when this product is available.

    Size

Made from a soft cotton and linen blend, this morning gown features the beige, white and green Unikko (poppy) pattern. The kimono-style gown has side seam pockets and a detachable belt.

Unikko (poppy) was designed in 1964 after Armi Ratia, Marimekko´s founder, had announced that Marimekko would never print a flower pattern. Maija Isola refused to obey Armi´s orders and - in protest - created an entire series of floral prints. One of them was Unikko which has become a story of creativity, strength, courage and faith in oneself.
