Vico Magistretti & Mario Tedeschi

“The most important thing for me is conceptual simplicity, which is usually translated into constructive clarity. A conceptually simple object could be made just using the telephone," - Vico Magistretti

Claritas is the first lamp designed by Vico Magistretti, produced with Mario Tedeschi in 1946, and remains timelessly relevant. The lamp is made of bent metal tubes, painted in black. Parts of the structure are in chromed metal. The aluminum diffuser is painted black with a white interior.
