Heirloom Quality to Last a Lifetime
Our porcelain enamel kitchen tools maker is a family-owned pan-forge business that has been in the same family for nine generations. Founded in the 1500s in Austria, today it is known for its top-quality enamelware, made in its carbon-neutral facility using locally-generated hydropower.
Each enameled item is made using a 40-step handmade process. Iron is pressed and stamped, dipped in porcelain enamel, dried, and fired at 1562°F/850°C to be glass-fused. The result is an heirloom quality, long-lasting product: heat resistant up to 842°F/450°C, non-reactive, anti-bacterial, and cut and scratch resistant.
Rest assured each porcelain enamel is all-natural, including the metal oxides used in the dyes. Each item is fully metal-recyclable.
