Chiisana Wall and Table Clock, assorted colors

    Color
    Orange
    Dark Blue

Riki Watanabe designed the Chiisana Tokei small clock in 1970. It was a hit with the Japanese public at a time when clocks were ornately decorated, and it is available again today and more perfect than every for our interiors.

    JIDA Design Museum

This small wall clock emerged as a leader in personal clocks because it was an epoch-making design compared to the common clocks of those days which were not only over-decorated but also overly sized. Now, it has been reproduced by Riki Watanabe, made from a new mold that preserves the Chiisana Tokei’s original design by maintaining its features such as the size, the relief lettering, and the needle stopper.

Please know the Chiisana has a silent movement so it will not interfere with one's sleep.

The Chiisana Tokei may be hung on the wall and it also comes with a small stand allowing it to be a table clock.
