A Cook's EssentiaL: Peeler, Zester and Julienne Tools
Meet the STAR Triology. Alfred Neweczerzal is the inventor of an exceptionally well-designed fresh fruit and vegetable peeler that since its release in 1947 has been a favorite to many generations of cooks. In fact, it is so admired, it is referenced in the Swiss iconic design book and has appeared on postage stamps.
The advance of laser-cut blades allowed peelers to be even more effective with soft-skinned ripe produce and for cutting julienned strips, and so Rex has cousins Tomi and Julienne, respectively.
