This is a healthy Napa Valley version using premium dried fruits and nuts from California.
Napa Cakes newest flavor, Apricot Almond Panforte, is a bright summer taste of California. With sun dried Blenheim Apricots, Peaches, Nectarines and dates along with California Almonds it is a delicious dessert or healthy snack and pairs beautifully with fine cheeses and charcuterie trays.
Panforte, the original power bar, dates back to the Roman times in Italy's Tuscany Region. History claims it was used by the Romans as a durable confection for energy during their marches and was useful as compact food to help them survive sieges.
Our panforte goes well with red wine, sweet wine, coffee, tea, as a breakfast snack, bedtime snack, afternoon snack or dessert after dinner. It is a sublime compliment to fine cheeses like The Sea Ranch's local Pazzo Marco cheeses.
This 8 ounce size will generously serve 8 people.
