The dress has an elastic gathered neckline, puffy sleeves with frill details at the seams, and elastic gathered sleeve ends. The waistline features an adjustable elastic cord with a lock. The hem is gathered at the seam and it has a slight A-line cut.

The joyous Karuselli (merry-go-round) design is a perfect example of Katsuji Wakisaka’s Marimekko prints, characterized by a free and playful approach to pattern composition.
