Our Japanese rush trivets - that come in a range of sizes - are a traditional Japanese kitchen tool handwoven from soft natural rush stalks. We found ours in one of Tokyo's great department stores hunting for kitchen items to bring back home. 

The rush trivets are perfect in the kitchen for safely placing hot pots and pans safely on tabletops and counters, and with their warm design travel well to a either a casual or dressed up tabletop. 

Each trivet comes With a small loop to hang it when not in use.
