    Sori Yanagi Stainless Steel Flatware

    Style

    Sori Yanagi

Highest Quality Flatware That Effortlessly Moves from the Kitchen to the Dining Room

Sori Yanagi Stainless Steel Flatware. We hand carried our first Yanagi stainless steel flatware back from Tokyo over multiple business trips. They are now tabletop staples in our kitchen and dinging room keeping a place of honor in our flatware drawers.

The design has a through line to the streamlined line forms of fish. It feels effortlessly natural in your hand. Its weight, in our estimation, is perfection - neither too light nor too heavy, just right.

    A constant favorite

And, our Yanagi flatware is always a houseguest favorite - someone simply expressing how great they feel in the hand and what a pleasure they are to use.

    Our collection guide

Here is how we built our collection:

    Everyday Setting

    • Dinner Fork
    • Dinner Knife
    • Table Spoon

    Casual Setting

Add these additional pieces to expand your everyday setting into an all-purpose causal setting.

    • Salad/Dessert Fork
    • Teaspoon
    • Soup Spoon
    • Butter Knife

    Formal Setting

Additional formal setting pieces are nice to have especially when you enjoy having multi-course meals including a starter course and dessert.

    • Meat Knife - This is heavier than the Dinner Knife with a serrated edge.
    • Salad/Dessert Knife
    • Dessert Spoon

    Additional Add-On Pieces

If you entertain a lot, or, like us simply love good flatware consider adding these pieces to round out your kitchen and dining styles:

    • Cake Fork - We love this small cake fork for serving homemade cakes and pastries.
    • Ice Cream Spoon - Our Ice Cream Spoon is the small version of a traditional ice cream scoop. Its flat edge helps you easily cut through and scoop ice cream bites.
    • Fruit Spoon - The serrated Fruit Spoon is a must if you enjoy citrus.
    • Seafood Fork - We enjoy seafood, so our Seafood Works get regular use. They're also fun to use for heavily garnished drinks and appetizers.
    • Muddler - If your tabletop and bar often feature muddled drinks, our Muddler is handy. We use ours most often in iced teas.
    • Sugar Spoon - We think a sugar spoon is always useful to have. We make sure ours serves double duty as a condiment and nuts ladle. Its slightly ladle-like design makes it perfect for these jobs.
